Coronavirus vaccine: What to do if you have corona before taking a vaccine or after taking a dose?

Seeing the need of this, in India too, from 1 May, people above 18 years of age have been approved to be vaccinated. Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease specialist at America’s Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, told ABC News, “Postpone your vaccine appointment if you have COVID-19 or show symptoms. The reason for this is that you do not infect other people who have come to get the vaccine at the center. Many types of health-related questions are asked before the vaccine appointment. Apart from this, every person is screened before going inside the vaccination center. On seeing any kind of symptom, the doctor can cancel your appointment on your own. According to the CDC guidelines, patients with COVID-19 should wait until they are fully recovered and out of isolation to be vaccinated. After getting cured, get the vaccine sure to get infected between two doses – Many people get infected even after taking a single dose of vaccine. In such a situation, you should extend the date of your second dose for 3-4 weeks. However, you should definitely contact your doctor about this and follow their advice on dosage.
